Frankie Poullain, bassist for glam-rockers The Darkness, has quit the group.
The band will now continue to work on the follow-up album to their debut Permission To Land without Poullain's help, as 'musical differences' have forced him to leave.
A statement from the band's management reads: "With immediate effect, bass player, Frankie Poullain, is no longer a member of The Darkness. Remaining members have cited musical differences as the reason for his departure. A replacement will be announced within coming months.???
