Elton: "I'm too old for children"

Angry singer Elton John has admitted that he wants children - but thinks he's too old.

"I probably would [be a great dad]," he told GMTV. "David and I have talked about adopting but... I don't want to be 80 years old when my kids are 20. I don't want to be worrying about them doing crack.

Elt, 58, added: "It's an incredibly difficult decision, because to have a child and raise it properly is the most responsible thing anyone has to do. Because of my lifestyle, travelling around all the time, I don't think it's the best environment to bring a kid up in."
