Melissa and Tammy Etheridge confirm split

The couple, who married in Malibu in September 2003, had been together for nearly nine years.
In a statement, their representative said: "Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are saddened to announce that they have now separated.
"We ask for consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult period."
The pair are parents to son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose, while Melissa also has two children - Bailey and Beckett - from a previous relationship.
