Chace Crawford: 'I want to date Cheryl'

Chace Crawford has admitted that he would like to date Cheryl Cole.

The Gossip Girl actor, who previously described Cole as "cute", made his intentions clear in an interview with The Mirror.

"She's free and I'm still a bachelor," said Crawford. "That girl is so beautiful. I'll treat her well, I promise.

"I'm thinking weddings one day, why not? Just think of the kids. I'm getting ahead of myself - I haven't even met the girl!"

Explaining how he intends to engineer the romance, Crawford added: "I'll go to Guy Richie's pub, the Punchbowl, and see if she's there... Ed [Westwick's] from Stevenage, he promised to take me there."
