According to Heat, Reid believes that Price - a keen equestrian - spends too much time with her six horses.
A source said: "She spends all of her time at the stables when she's at home.
"She did exactly the same thing in the dying days of her relationship with Pete [Andre] - he nagged her over the same thing and said he never got to see her.
"She and Alex have been like passing ships in the night recently. The times you do see them together are very stage-managed, just like she did with Pete."
They added: "They've just gone to Egypt for a week with Harvey and her trainer Andrew Goulding and his wife, so even then they're not exactly spending quality time together.
"Considering they're newlyweds, it's not the ideal relationship and poor Alex is feeling undervalued."
