Spider-Man actor Tobey Maguire has opened up his home to old friend Sara Gilbert, her lesbian partner and her son.
The star, who went to school with the former Roseanne actress, made the gesture after learning that her home was undergoing renovation.
Maguire is currently co-habiting with long-time girlfriend Jennifer Meyer.
