Victoria 'begs David to be an actor'

Victoria Beckham has reportedly begged husband David to become an actor after his footballing career.

According to Now, the 36-year-old fashion icon is keen for the LA Galaxy star to make it in Hollywood.

"She's been urging David to try his hand at acting and has told friends she'd take such pride in him becoming successful in Hollywood," a source said.

"David's always been reluctant because he didn't feel he had what it takes, but he's finally given in to the idea of giving acting a go.

"He's been getting help from his friends Tom Cruise and Vinnie Jones. But if he's going to make it as an actor, he'd be well advised to step out of his comfort zone."

David, who at 35 years old is nearing the end of his footballing career, was forced to pull out of this year's World Cup following an achilles injury.
