According to Reuters, the development of a touring arena show, a Jackson-themed night club and a Las Vegas stage show is part of a third major deal with the Michael Jackson estate following the singer's death in June 2009.
The Jackson estate and Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil will each own half of each project. They will also split development and production costs, representatives for the estate said.
"Having attended Cirque du Soleil performances with Michael, I know he was a huge fan," John Branca, a co-executor of the estate, said in a statement.
"We are excited to be partners with Cirque du Soleil, to give Michael's fans a truly unique way to hear, see and feel Michael's music," he added.
Production on the arena touring show is expected to start in late fall 2011.
MGM Mirage and one of its ten hotels in Vegas will host the permanent show in the city, but remains silent on which venue it will be.
