Like most boybands before them, they claim that their new record will have a more grown-up sound than their first effort, 'Room on the Third Floor.'
"The second album's going really well," singer Danny Jones told icLiverpool. "It's more mature because we've become more mature. We've moved on from the last album. I think this one's cooler, more advanced."
The group insisted that they were remaining true to their pop roots, however, as well as assuring fans that they wouldn't be splitting any time soon.
"We are still a pop band. It's not pop in the same way that SClub 7 was pop but we're not playing rock songs," explained Tom Fletcher. "We won't be like Busted because we're best of friends and we don't want to split. It's not like we just come to work and then go home. We're friends more than anything."
