The death of Marie Osmond's son Michael Bryan has been officially ruled a suicide by the Los Angeles Coroner's Office.

According to The AP, drugs and alcohol did not play a role in his jump from an eight story balcony in February.

The 18-year-old college student did leave a suicide note behind, but at the time toxicology results had not been determined.

Bryan was one of five children that Osmond and her ex-husband adopted.

Osmond has yet to comment on the toxicology findings.
