Lawson: 'Stars call for cooking tips'

Nigella Lawson has claimed that she frequently gets calls from celebrities asking for cookery tips.

The Nigella Express star, 50, revealed that Christmas was her busiest time because she always gets so many calls from stars who have festive food emergencies.

"There probably isn't a Christmas where I don't get phone calls from stars asking emergency things," she told The Sun.

"I often get calls at weekends when there's a problem in the oven."

Lawson launched her first iPhone 'Quick Collection' application earlier this week, which has matched the success of rival TV chef Jamie Oliver's cookery app and become an instant best-seller.
