The 2012 actress and her screenwriter husband David Benioff welcomed daughter Molly June in New York earlier this week, says People.
Peet had been scheduled to appear on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, but was forced to cancel her appearance after she went into labour.
Her rep said: "Mother and daughter are doing great."
Peet and Benioff also have 3-year-old daughter Frances.
