Dina: 'Lindsay's a good influence'

Dina Lohan has claimed that Lindsay is a good influence on her younger sister Ali.

The sisters, 16 and 23, are currently living together in Lindsay's Los Angeles home. Earlier this week, their estranged father Michael brought the Los Angeles Country Sheriff's Department to Lindsay's apartment for a "welfare check" on Ali.

"They scared the hell out of my girls," Dina told People. "Ali called me hysterically crying. They were hysterical and petrified of him. I spoke to the [police officer] and said, 'You don’t have a warrant, get out!'"

Michael claimed that Ali is being exposed to "nightlife and the people Lindsay is surrounding herself with", a claim that Dina denied.

"Lindsay is absolutely, 100 percent, not [a bad influence]," Dina said. "Ali is amazing. She loves her sister. Would I let my daughter go anywhere that's dangerous? I mean, come on, Ali and Lindsay need to be protected from their ex-father. That's the dangerous situation."

The sisters currently have no contact with their father and Lindsay has recently stated that she will pursue a restraining order against him.
