French, Henry 'return from break together'

Dawn French and Lenny Henry have been photographed together for the first time since their split.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that they had separated earlier this month, but maintained that they intend to remain friends for the sake of their adopted daughter Billie.

Having reportedly taken a break abroad to wait until the media furore surrounding their separation died down, French and Henry returned to the UK yesterday following a holiday in the Caribbean.

According to Now, the pair seemed content as they exited London Heathrow Airport.

The former couple first met on the comedy circuit in 1980 and got married in 1984.
