Amy Winehouse in hospital after fall

Amy Winehouse checked into hospital on Sunday after reportedly bruising her breasts in a drunken fall.

The singer's minders took her to a private clinic on London's Harley Street following the accident, which has also caused pain around her ribs, The Sun claims.

A spokesperson for Winehouse last night confirmed that the star had still not returned home, although her injuries are not thought to be serious. The representative said: "She really likes the clinic so may stay a few days."

Meanwhile, a hospital source claimed that the 26-year-old caused chaos when she arrived on Sunday. The witness commented: "Amy was running up and down the corridors with her top off and reeking of booze.

"She has been heard complaining of pain caused by bruising on her breasts and around her ribs. The nurses had to step in and ask her to calm down. Eventually she had to be taken back to her room. The ward sister was absolutely fuming."

Winehouse had her breasts enlarged at the same clinic last year.
