Katie Price 'has never heard of Allsopp'

Katie Price has reportedly brushed off Kirstie Allsopp's criticism of her parenting.

Allsopp made headlines yesterday by suggesting that Price should stop featuring her children in magazine photoshoots, arguing that the three youngsters deserve the chance to lead "private lives" when they are older.

However, the Daily Star claims that Price found her remarks amusing because she has no idea who the TV host is.

The glamour girl allegedly told a friend: "Who the hell is Kirstie Allsopp? I have never even heard of her, so it's bizarre and quite funny that she is just using my name to further her own career."

A source close to Price said: "Kirstie just seems yet another person who is bad-mouthing Kate to get publicity for themselves. It seems unfair she has just picked up on Kate when Peter [Andre] is on the cover of magazines with the kids."

Allsopp has two children of her own and is also stepmother to two sons from her husband Ben Andersen's first marriage.
