Minogue: 'Smith will be perfect husband'

Dannii Minogue has predicted that her partner Kris Smith will be a "perfect" husband.

The couple, who began a relationship in the summer of 2008, are currently expecting their first child.

Speaking to The Mirror about whether marriage is on the cards, Minogue commented: "He'll be the perfect husband. I couldn't complain. Most girls will be, 'Right, nail him down'.

"We have talked about it, but this year is just hectic, it's crazy. So there's nothing planned."

She continued: "I'll just be concentrating on being a mum. I never thought this would happen to me, it's going to be such a big shock and a change. My friend told me to expect to be covered in spew and surrounded by nappies.

"You think you're going have it all under control, but your world goes upside down - in a good way. That's what I'll be focusing on."

Minogue's first marriage to actor Julian McMahon ended in divorce in 1995.
