Jameson, Ortiz withdraw allegations

Jenna Jameson and Tito Ortiz have both withdrawn recent allegations that they had made against each other following Ortiz's recent arrest.

Ortiz was taken into custody on Monday after being arrested on charges of felony domestic violence at the couple's home. He later claimed that the incident was prompted by a confrontation over Jameson's addiction to prescription drugs.

Jameson denied the drug claims and alleged that Ortiz threw her into a bathtub and tore two of her shoulder ligaments.

"What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in," Jameson told TMZ today.

Ortiz is now apparently backing away from the drug abuse allegations. He claims to have found two OxyContin pills in a pair of his partner's trouser pockets. The discovery caused him to reportedly "jump to conclusions".

Ortiz's lawyer called the dispute "a big misunderstanding".

It is said that the UFC fighter stands to lose $15m (£10m) if he is prosecuted for domestic violence.
