Steven Gerrard 'is a Glee fan'

Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard is a big fan of Glee, a report has claimed.

The sportsman was introduced to the musical comedy-drama by wife Alex Curran and now loves tuning in every week, according to The Sun.

A source told the newspaper: "Stevie has developed quite a passion for Glee. Alex loves it and made Steven watch it with her. At first he was always moaning about it as it wasn't his kind of show. If he had his way he would have the footie on 24/7.

"But after a bit of perseverance from the missus now Stevie doesn't miss an episode. He can't get enough of it. It's all a bit cheesy but Stevie finds it funny, he has a good laugh about it. Even when he misses the show Alex always has it on Sky+ so Stevie can catch up."

The insider added: "It has scored him major bonus points with the wife, so when he fancies watching a bit of Sky Sports Alex doesn't mind."

Curran recently insisted that her marriage is stronger than ever following rumours that suggested otherwise.
