Hudgens had "no friends" at school

Vanessa Hudgens has admitted that she had no friends during her school days.

The 21-year-old - who revealed earlier this week that she was in Beastly co-star Mary Kate Olsen's fanclub as a teenager - said that she was not part of the in-crowd during her younger years, Showbiz Spy reports.

"I was totally the girl who had no friends," the actress said. "While everyone else was playing, I would sit on the lawn and stare up at the clouds."

Earlier this week, Hudgens was also tipped to play the lead in an upcoming movie adaptation of Spider-Woman.
