Liz Hurley has sparked rumours that she might be engaged.
The actress invited over 150 friends and relatives to celebrate her 40th birthday at her £3million country home. Before the party began, some guests speculated that Liz was about to announce her engagement to Arun Nayar.
"I think she's up to something," one guest told the Daily Mail. "I think she and Arun are going to announce their engagement - they're so happy together, it would be the perfect time to do it."
Another friend added, "I can't help thinking that Arun might finally ask Liz to marry him."
Nayar, who met Hurley in January 2003, is currently in the midst of divorce proceedings from Italian wife Valentina Pedroni.
