Rather than attending the movie's big screen debut at the Curzon Mayfair, the cagefighter spent the evening at the nearby May Fair Hotel with his wife Katie Price, according to The Sun.
In his absence, his co-star Yvette Rowland posed on the red carpet with a cardboard cut-out of Reid.
In attendance at the premiere were ex-jewel thief Lenny Hamilton, former bareknuckle boxer Roy Shaw and once driver to the Kray twins, Billy Frost, as well as a number of glamour girls, according to the Daily Mail.
Reid abandoned his role in the film part way through production, for which he was accused of having "no bottle, no principles and no talent".
Coincidentally, a cagefighting fan was photographed at the event wearing a t-shirt with the message "Alex bottled it", in reference to Reid's cancelled fight with Tom 'Kong' Watson.
