The rapper-actor has revealed on his blog that he enjoyed the horror remake but insisted that it cannot be compared to Wes Craven's 1984 original, reports SOHH.
The 26-year-old wrote: "Go see it, go see it, go see it… WHY: It's a perfect date movie and the rebirth of Freddy Krueger with a modern day twist. The new Krueger played by Jackie Earle Haley did his thing and made freddy his own. Him and Robert Englund are 2 different freddys to me but both good at being creepy, psychotic and scary as f**k (sic).
"WILL I GO SEE IT AGAIN ON FRIDAY? Hell yeah, this time on shrooms haha (joking... kind of) in the beginning your going to be VERYYYY skeptical. If your into horror like me, you don't want to see an icon get rebooted the wrong way. But it's cool for a remake, way better than a lot of remakes. NOT BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL, only because NOTHING f**ks with the original.
"IN CONCLUSION: Uf u want to have a lil fun at the movies with a date or your homies this friday, go check it out. It's not a waste of time. It's mandatory actually. I mean common, its Freddy Krueger!!!!"
