Bosses are worried that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' relationship could damage their respective movies.

Both Cruise and Holmes have movies being released this month - War of the Worlds and Batman Begins, it seems that the stars' relationship is stealing the limelight from the films.

Polls in both US Weekly and People magazines show that most people are suspicious of how genuine the couple are in the light of the constant media coverage they are attracting.

WENN quotes Martin Levy, an executive of Dreamworks, as saying: "You can have so much attention on a particular issue that maybe the movie doesn't get as much attention as it might. It's the topic of conversation for other reasons."
