Sophie Ellis-Bextor: 'I feel old'

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has revealed that she sometimes feels old.

The 31-year-old singer, who has children Sonny and Kit with The Feeling guitarist Richard Jones, said that she tries to see the good side to ageing.

"When I talk to teenagers I do feel older," MSN quotes Ellis-Bextor as saying. "Richard and I both feel like we've done so much growing up since we've been together. But there are a lot of perks to getting older.

"It's hard to feel comfortable in your own skin when you're younger. I think you get that knowledge when you've had highs and lows - stuff that only comes with getting older."
