Alex Reid hits back at Allsopp criticism

Alex Reid has defended wife Katie Price after her parenting skills were criticised by TV host Kirstie Allsopp.

Allsopp made headlines last week by complaining about the way Price uses her three children in magazine photoshoots and as models for her kids' products.

Writing in his Star magazine column, Reid asked: "Who's Kirstie Allsopp and why is she slagging off my wife? What motivated her to criticise how Katie brings up the kids?

"I really don't understand why Katie gets those criticisms. If she was referring to the modelling, I say why shouldn't they do that? I don't see any problem in it whatsoever.

"It seems anytime someone wants a front page these days, they just take a pop at Katie or me. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all."

Price has not yet commented publicly on the row, although sources have said that she found Allsopp's remarks "bizarre and quite funny".
