Chanelle 'more than friends' with Tweed

Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes has confirmed that she is "more than friends" with Jack Tweed.

The 22-year-old, who is pregnant with her first child, claimed that she can see herself having a future with Jade Goody's widower, but also revealed that the pair are taking their relationship slowly.

"We met through a mutual friend and just started messaging each other on our BlackBerrys," she told New magazine.

"We had a laugh and enjoyed each other's company [on our first date at London Zoo]. Although we did see a gorilla having a really big poo and that kind of killed the romance!"

The glamour model confirmed that she has shared a "kiss and cuddle" with Tweed, but insisted that she has not slept with him.

"He's really nice and kind. He didn't ask for all this bad stuff to be written about him," she said. "We're more than friends, but don't marry us off just yet!"

Speaking about Tweed's recent rape trial, she said: "I just think when you're a 22-year-old, good-looking guy in the press with a successful job, you've got girls throwing themselves at you every day. You don't need to go out and rape someone. Jack's not like that at all. He's a sweet guy."

Hayes is due to give birth in July. Championship footballer Matthew Bates, who is the father, called off their relationship after she announced that she was pregnant.
