Frankie Sandford 'to marry Poynter'

Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford is planning to marry McFly's Dougie Poynter before Christmas, a report has claimed.

According to the Daily Star, the couple are likely to become engaged "any day" after recently reuniting following a six-week separation.

A source told the newspaper: "They split up because their hectic schedules meant they were finding it hard to find time to see each other. But while they were apart they spent most of the time on the phone to each other. They realised they can't live apart any longer."

The insider added: "They plan to get engaged and hope to be married before Christmas. They are determined not to let work get in the way."

Sandford and Poynter announced that they had split in March after being together for more than a year.

However, in an interview at the weekend, Sandford confirmed that they had reunited, saying: "[The split's] definitely made us realise that what we have together is good."
