Auction site eBay have decided to ban the sale of free Live 8 concert tickets on the site, to the delight of organiser Bob Geldof.
Although site management originally allowed sellers to benefit from auctioning originally-free tickets to the charity event, managing director Doug McCallum announced a change of policy last night.
Breakingnews.ie quotes him as saying: "The bottom line is that we’ve listened carefully to our customers over the last few days.
"Overwhelmingly the voice is that they would like us to take down the listing so we are going to do our best to do that."
