Cruise denies romance is for publicity

Tom Cruise has laughed off skepticism about his relationship with Katie Holmes.
The Top Gun actor and the Dawson's Creek star have come under suspicion of the public, who think that the pair's well-reported relationship is in fact a cynical publicity stunt: Holmes' Batman Begins is now upon us and Cruise's War of the Worlds is waiting in the wings.
Speaking at the European premiere of his new film in Berlin, Cruise said: "I have to laugh. It's just ridiculous. Something magnificent has happened to me and something extraordinary, and I'm so happy I just can't restrain myself."
