Girls Aloud member Cheryl Tweedy and lover Ashley Cole were caught up in a sandstorm whilst holidaying in Dubai.
The Sun reports that the couple were sightseeing when they were forced to run for cover in a remote villa and shelter there for several hours before it was safe to leave.
The singer told the newspaper: "It was really scary but thankfully we're ok."
She also went on to speak about the couple's plans for living arrangements: "Things are great. We'll look for the perfect place straight away. We can't wait to live together.
"There was a rumour of Ashley moving to Spain and me following him - but that's just not true."
