According to the Belfast Telegraph, the former Robin Hood star did not turn up at his first court appearance on Tuesday due to an audition he was attending.
It is alleged Jonas was involved in an incident on April 26 at his mother's house in St Annes, near Blackpool.
The Blackpool Magistrates' Court has adjourned the case until May 19. His publicist has said he would not be commenting on the matter.
Armstrong, 29, has also starred in The Street and Teachers.
