The Up in the Air star told USA Today that she is three months pregnant.
"I'm past the first trimester, so I'm not feeling sick any more," the 36-year-old said.
Reports of Farmiga's pregnancy began to surface after the actress pulled out of upcoming film Machine Gun Preacher.
Farmiga is already mother to a 15-month-old son with husband Renn Hawkey.
