Mel Gibson 'planning to win back wife'

Mel Gibson is desperate to reunite with his estranged wife, say reports.

The Edge of Darkness actor apparently now regrets leaving Robyn for another woman four years ago.

"He's still in love with Robyn, he realises he made a huge mistake leaving her," a source told the National Enquirer.

"Robyn is not only the mother of his seven children, she's been a major source of strength for Mel throughout his life. Without her around we’re worried he’ll fall to pieces."

Gibson split from long-time girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva last month.
