The rumoured couple, who starred together in 2001 movie Sweet November and 1997 thriller The Devil's Advocate, were spotted kissing as they left a Beverly Hills restaurant earlier this week.
One onlooker at Bouchon told Bang Showbiz: "Keanu and Charlize were having a great time. They were constantly laughing, almost disrupting other tables with how loud they were.
"They were wrapped up in each other's conversation and having a great time together."
The source added that Reeves paid for the meal and that the pair broke away from their embrace when they realised they had been spotted.
Charlize split from boyfriend Stuart Townsend earlier this year, while Reeves's long-term partner Jennifer Syme died in a car accident in 2001, two years after their baby was stillborn.
