Brian Harvey making slow progress
Published Thursday, Jun 16 2005, 20:02 BST | By Daniel Saney
Former East 17 star Brian Harvey has regained consciousness and is making slow but steady progress following a throat operation after his accident on May 31.
BBC News quotes Harvey's manager, Simon Harrison as saying: "He spent all day (Wednesday) smiling and reading through his messages and cards. He was in very good spirits."
The police say that the singer was flung out of his car's open door whilst reversing down an access road when he hit another car and was crushed by his own vehicle.
His manager is optimistic about the situation, noting: "Considering what condition Brian was in two weeks ago, these improvements are great news."
