Last month, the former Blue singer sent a message to Cruise's official page stating: "I have a film I've written about retelin can I send it to you please ide love you to read it!!! Lee ryan!!! X (sic)".
Talking to Matt Edmonson for Sony Ericsson Pocket TV, Ryan said: "I actually got his production number - how cool is that?
"The world is your oyster. But I like to say it needs a lot of lemon and Tabasco."
When asked about his upcoming single 'Secret Love', Ryan said: "The song's basically about being in love with someone that you're not meant to be in love with."
Quizzed on his own celebrity crush, Ryan quipped: "Margaret Thatcher would get it." He also confirmed that he had a crush on the female Na'avi in James Cameron's Avatar.
