New acts added to Live 8 line-up

Destiny's Child and Linkin Park have been added to the lineup for July 2nd's Live 8 event in Philadelphia.

Although Candy Shop hip-hopper 50 Cent pulled out of the show yesterday due to other commitments, the event still boasts an impressive array of stars including Bon Jovi, Kaiser Chiefs, Maroon 5, P Diddy and Stevie Wonder.

Will Smith will host the show, whilst similar events take place in London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Tokyo and Toronto in order to raise awareness of poverty in developing countries before the G-8 members meet in Scotland.
