Simmons: 'Mums need time for themselves'

Kimora Lee Simmons has insisted that mothers need to take time to pamper themselves.

The Life In The Fab Lane star has admitted that having children is a demanding 24-hour job and that taking the time for yourself is essential.

Speaking to E! Online, the 35-year-old said: "It doesn't always have to be going to the spa because maybe we can't afford that, but take some time for yourself.

"Mums always have the kids walking in when we're on the toilet. They're like 'Mum, let me see! What's that smell?' Close the door... take a moment, light a candle, meditate."

The former runway model, who has a baby with husband Djimon Hounson, also admitted that it's "romantic" to have her guy be into diaper duties.

She said: "He's very hands-on. It's so romantic and sexy to have a guy who changes diapers in the middle of the night!"

Simmons also has two daughters, Ming and Aoki, with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.
