Amanda Peet 'panicked by loft burglary'

Amanda Peet's husband has said that the actress was left terrified after a burglar was spotted leaving their apartment.

Peet's spouse, writer David Benioff, testified in court about a burglar who was allegedly seen by their babysitter stealing items from the couple's New York home, reports Splash News.

"She was panicked," Benioff said of Peet, who was pregnant when the robbery happened last October.

Alleged burglar Henry Santos is accused of stealing a jewelery box worth $900 and an Apple AirPort wi-fi router from the pair's three-bedroom Manhattan loft.
