Gok Wan: 'I could stop SuBo teasing'

Gok Wan has revealed that he would like to give Susan Boyle a makeover.

The TV style guru told Star magazine that his efforts would put a stop to criticism of Boyle's appearance.

Asked whether the Scottish singer would be a suitable candidate for a transformation, Wan replied: "Do you know what, I feel really sorry for Su-Bo, because everyone gives out to her.

"It's weird because even people who don't bitch about other people seem to bitch about Su-Bo, and everybody lays into her. So I'm going to say yes, because I would give her the transformation of her life and then no-one else would ever be able to take the mick out of her again!"

The How To Look Good Naked star went on to name Simon Cowell as one celebrity who does not need a makeover - and warned that the music mogul's fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy should leave his style alone.

He said: "Simon has absolutely nailed a brand. He has got a uniform that he wears. If he changes that, he is going to change half of his branding, so I don't think she should change him. He might lose some followers somehow."
