Last week, it was reported that the model was unhappy after allegedly hearing that wives and girlfriends of other footballers had been "bitching" about her marriage.
However, writing in her OK magazine column, Curran complained that the rumours were "silly stories" which "really irritated" her.
She commented: "A paper has said that I think all the other WAGs have it in for me and that I hate being called a WAG, but it's all rubbish. I don't love the term but I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had because of that tag so I'd never moan about it.
"Also, I don't think I'm any better than anyone else. I get on with all the girls when we meet up at games or parties but I only ever get to see them when we're out. But there's certainly no animosity."
Curran and Gerrard recently flew off for a sunshine holiday with their two daughters.
