Bob Geldof claims that the only thing preventing a Spice Girls reformation at Live 8 is Mel B's refusal to agree to it.
As the event's organiser, the former Boomtown Rat says that he will try once more to entice Scary Spice into joining the venture, but otherwise there will be no performance from any of the girls in Hyde Park.
He told the Richard And Judy Show: "It has got to be all or nothing. I'll call her during the week and if she can't do it, she can't do it."
It was previously claimed that the girls were desperate to reform for the event but were being turned down by organisers who saw them as unsuitable for the concerts' message.
