'Housewives' star avoids drug charges

Desperate Housewives' Cody Kasch must behave himself for a year to have his drug charges dropped.

The actor, who plays Zach/Dana Young in the show, was arrested for marijuana possession last month after being spotted using the drug in Manhattan's East Village by plainclothes police.

Appearing at the Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday Kasch, 17, was told that his fifth-degree drug possession charge will be dropped provided that he provokes no more arrests before June 20, 2006.
