According to Radar Online, the Tudors star was recently seen "pounding drinks" in the John F. Kennedy airport first-class lounge and acting in a drunken and disorderly manner.
He was prohibited to get on a plane to Los Angeles due to his "belligerent" and "disruptive" behaviour, said a source.
Rhys Meyers was arrested in 2009 for allegedly attacking staff at a bar in Paris's Charles de Gaulle airport.
