According to TMZ, Charlotte Lewis said that the alleged abuse happened in Paris more than 25 years ago, four years after Polanski fled the US subsequent to pleading guilty to unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Lewis held a news conference this afternoon with attorney Gloria Allred to explain the details behind her claims.
Allred and Lewis presented the allegations to Los Angeles County Deputy DA David Walgren yesterday.
It is unclear if the new allegations will be used for Polanski's extradition from Switzerland to face charges in the US from the previous case.
