Beckhams amass £30m modern art collection

The Beckhams have reportedly filled their homes in London, Milan and LA with modern art worth £30m.

Among the love-themed collection are paintings, portraits and sculptures by Damien Hirst, Sam Taylor Wood, Tracey Emin, Banksy, and Jake and Dinos Chapman, The Mirror reports.

David and Victoria, who bought the works as gifts for each other over eight years, are now considering putting some of the works on show.

"Victoria is a mover and shaker in more upmarket circles nowadays and likes being a 'collector'," a source said. "She is even in talks with a museum to showcase some of their pieces - all of which are love tokens, presents David or Victoria gave to each other for birthdays, Christmas and special anniversaries."

As well as works by big names in the art world, the couple champion up-and-coming artists and lesser-known names.

"The Beckhams' collection - much of it purchased from The White Cube gallery in London - is enough to make any self-respecting art fan green with envy," the source said.
