Rachel Stevens: 'Confidence is sexy'

Rachel Stevens has claimed that having confidence is the sexiest asset for a woman.

The former S Club 7 popstar said that unlike men, she judges women on their personalities rather than their figures.

"[Men] start from the bottom and work their way up," she told The Mirror. "In reality, they start at the bum and end up at the face - so you know what their focus is.

"For me a woman who is ­confident in herself and her body is really sexy. We all come in different shapes and sizes and there are so many really beautiful women out there. But to be really sexy I think you've got to know yourself and your body and be really confident in it."

Stevens, 32, also joked that she is hoping to remain on FHM magazine's sexiest list for many years to come.

"Hell, yeah! I'm going to be on the list when I'm 40 and beyond if I can," she said. "It'll be a nice thing to tell the grandkids. It's become a real thing for me, but even though I've been listed all those times, I've never been FHM's number one sexiest woman. I need to get there!"
