Hurley: 'Hugh Grant is my best friend'

Elizabeth Hurley has said that Hugh Grant is still her best friend over ten years after their break-up.

The model considers Grant to be "part of [the] family" and has set aside a bedroom for him in her home, though she has since married Indian textile heir Arun Nayar.

"My overall best friend is Hugh. My 'current affairs' best friend is Arun, because we speak to each other all day, every day. My sister Katie is my loyal best friend. But there is a part of my life neither Arun nor Katie understand; a career part and a different emotional level where Hugh is still my number one," the star told Zest.

"We've been best friends for 24 years and that's not nothing."

The pair met in 1987 on the set of the Spanish drama Remando Al Viento and were together for 13 years.
