James Marsters proposes to girlfriend

James Marsters is engaged to be married to longtime girlfriend Patricia Rahman, it has been announced.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor proposed while the couple were on holiday in Trier, Germany, reports People.

The 47-year-old is said to have met the 24-year-old fashion student while attending a concert in Amsterdam.

"I met her backstage and got her phone number, but then my jeans were cleaned out by the crew and they threw it out. I'd given her my number, but she took down one digit wrong. It took her six months to call all of the different combinations," he said.

The pair plan to marry this fall.
